St Andrews Market
Every Saturday, arising from the dawn mist and fresh scent of eucalyptus, to the laugh of kookaburras and the ring of bellbirds, the reserve opposite the pub comes alive with the colour and vibrancy that is another joyous market day.
St Andrews Market is a local community market that is colourful, friendly with a quaint flavour.
Come and do your weekly shopping for fresh vegies, eggs, preserves and great breads. Replenish the bathroom with beautiful handmade soaps and skincare products. Buy that lemon tree you've been promising the garden, and the garden tools as well!
Check out the great clothes and jewellery for something funky and different. Find a fascinating book that you just can't put down. Buy something very special for your home - our artists and craftspeople create exquisite pieces!
Wander the alleys to seek out gifts for loved ones. You'll see rich silks from Thailand, handpainted ceramic bowls from Turkey, woven rugs from Chile, treasures from all over the globe.
Feeling the need for a lift in energy? Professional experienced healing practitioners are at your service.
Then there's the food. Ahh! Yum! Come for the cakes, or maybe lunch, or both! Have a tea in the chai tent and soak up the atmosphere; maybe meet someone interesting and have an extraordinary conversation!
The children will love the ponies and the facepainting!
Enjoy the music - drumming, didgeridoos, guitars, singing, dancing - and join in if it takes your fancy.
