Sports Performer Awards |
The Sports Performer Awards are one of the most prestigious prizes in Australian Sport - recognising the very best performers across all sports.
Organised by Fairfax Media in conjunction with Colonial First State since 2007, the awards are voted for by Australia's passionate sporting public.
Consisting of 5 categories selected by leading journalists, the winners are announced at a gala function held in late November and telecast nationally on Network Ten and One.
The Sports Performer of the Year receives $50,000 with previous winners including Cadel Evans, Matthew Mitcham and Craig Alexander.
Voting open October - November.
