On Thursday 17 May, you can help Melbourne City Mission put youth homelessness to bed.
Gather your friends, family, workmates… and join over 1,200 other Melburnians for a mass sleepover at the MCG to raise vital funds to support Melbourne City Mission's work with young people experiencing homelessness.
Over 6,000 young Victorians are experiencing homelessness right now. Violence, abuse and the experience of trauma are major drivers into homelessness for young people. Without the support of our organisation, a young person can remain trapped in the cycle of poverty and lose all hope of reaching their full potential.
Sleep at the 'G is a unique opportunity to join in the conversation about homelessness.
On the night you'll hear first-hand from youth who've experienced homelessness and meet our incredible team of youth workers. There's also live entertainment, games, a handball competition with the Melbourne Football Club players and lots more.
In 2018 we aim to raise $800,000 to help break this cycle of homelessness permanently for as many young people as possible.
If you believe everyone deserves a secure and safe place to call home register now for Sleep at the 'G.
