Punt Road Wines is located on the Napoleone family property in the Yarra Valley, an hour east of Melbourne.
Everything we do comes from our home in Coldstream.
Surrounded by orchards and vineyards, a wealth of history and a superb range of wines await you at the Punt Road cellar door.
From the famous Punt Road Pinot Noir to the alluring Chardonnay, these wines offer something evocative and expressive for the wine traveller to lose themself in. All wines are made on site from their estate fruit by winemaker Tim Shand and team; let the savvy cellar door crew take you on an adventure through these vineyards from glass to glass or bring a picnic and relax on the lawn with a bottle of the Method Champenoise sparkling or the award-winning Shiraz while the kids play on the bocce court.
Ideas are born here, the grapes are grown here, and our wines are crafted and shared here. As a family-owned vineyard and winery, we aim to create wines that reflect the heritage of our site, and the independent, creative energy of the Yarra Valley. Winemaker Tim Shand guides the path of fruit from more than 150 acres of estate-grown vineyards.
We have planted several varieties over the past 27 years to best suit this site, including pinot gris, chardonnay, pinot noir, gamay, shiraz, merlot, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. These varieties shine in different ways across three distinctive expressions - Airlie Bank, Punt Road and our limited release 'Block Series' wines - with our full Punt Road range always available for tastings. Relax with a cheese platter, a glass or a full wine flight, chat with our team and experience why we spend every day here.

Closed: Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day
Punt Road Winery is also the new home of the Yarra Valley Farmers Market - third Sunday of every month from 9am to 1.30pm (from 15 November 2020)
