The OTIS Foundation is a charity dedicated to providing a national network of retreat accommodation properties at no cost to anyone who has faced the challenges of breast cancer.
The hundreds of guests who take advantage of The OTIS Foundation each year consider the organisation an amazing gift at a time when they need it the most. Providing them an opportunity to take a break away with loved ones - an opportunity to relax, reconnect and create special memories together.
It is our aim that this time away will help to reduce the psychological impacts of breast cancer on everyone who enjoys a stay at one of our properties.
The OTIS Foundation has developed a network of retreats across Victoria, NSW and South Australia which are made available free of charge to those living with breast cancer. The properties offer an opportunity for guests, family and friends, to take time out from the challenges of serious illness to relax, recharge and regroup.
With the exception of our Bendigo properties, each retreat has been donated for its location, in beautiful, natural surrounds which enables our guests to draw on nature for strength and comfort. We offer stays from 2 - 6 nights and can accommodate from 2 to 10 guests. Everybody is welcome!
The Otis Foundation was inspired by Judy Burley (1963-2000). Judy was a teacher with a passion for social justice who was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 29. She had a vision to deliver the peace, nurturing and comfort she found in nature to others.
