North Carlton Railway Neighbourhood House |
The North Carlton Railway Neighbourhood House has been providing community programs and support since 1984. We want the House to hum with a diverse range of people who support eachother and learn to celebrate together and contribute to building a fair and just society. "Your World! Our World!"
In brief we aim to:
create and strengthen connections in the community
provide accessible and equitable opportunities for learning new skills and for life long learning
create an inclusive community through companionship, socialising, having fun, meeting new people and making new friends
encourage community participation, advocacy and social action on individual and community issues
provide information and referral
provide low cost venue for community events and celebrations
provide access to computers and internet use
build partnerships, relationships and links with other community groups and organisations.
