Montalto has been awarded both a Chef's Hat Rating in the 2011 Age Good Food Guide & 5 red stars in the 2011 Halliday Australian Wine Companion. (5 red stars stand for an outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity!)
At Montalto we believe in enjoying wine with food and friends and so offer three different dining experiences: a la carte dining in our Restaurant, casual dining in our Piazza and Garden Cafe and private, catered picnics at selected locations.
Whilst offering different experiences, dining at Montalto has a common thread running through it. Produce of the estate and the region is honoured and menus are built around it. The beauty and bounty of the estate is further welcomed through floor to ceiling windows, expansive decks, al fresco dining and, in its purest form, right amongst the property itself.
