National Steam Centre: Miniature Railway
Train rides Sundays 11am-4pm
The miniature railway operates every Sunday, weather permitting, from 11am to 4pm, excepting for Christmas -New Year.
Endless train rides for a fixed price. Pleasant surroundings and picnic tables provided.
The track runs for about 1km around the perimeter of the site.
On the trip you pass the lake complete with numerous ducks and other water birds, and you view some of the museum machinery around the track. train passes the lake
The roomy carriages comfortably accommodate adults as well as children.
