The Melbourne Wine Room is located in one of Melbourne's last remaining terminus hotels, the dining room of which has remained unchanged over the years.
The menu spans oysters from Shoalhaven to Coffin Bay, and classic starters of buffalo mozzarella with prosciutto and pickled figs. But mostly it's about hearty Italian cooking, including specials like chunky slow-cooked duck ragu on tagliatelle.
Offering a wine list of almost 40 pages with the best local and international wines.
