Melbourne Projection Space is a contemporary public video art gallery on Franklin Street. Our approach is to extend the boundaries of contemporary art.
We present local and international video art and our philosophy is to showcase artwork in innovative architectural spaces. The gallery operates three large projection screens and runs at the front of Dark Horse Experiment as an experimental research art gallery.
The projections commence at dusk and run until late, every night of the year. Both Melbourne Projection Space and Dark Horse Experiment share the same opening nights.
Melbourne Projection Space pushes and supports public performances and space activation.
