The last Melbourne Jazz Fringe Festival was in 2013.
The Melbourne Jazz Fringe Festival featured some of Australia's most celebrated improvisers in an inspiring ten days and nights of creative and groundbreaking music making.
The festival was formed in 2005 to celebrate Melbourne's burgeoning creative jazz scene.
Each year the festival began with a free concert.
Major sponsors include Victoria University, Big Trousers, APRA, Federation Square, Arts Victoria 2008.
