The Melbourne Chess Club is a non-profit community organisation, dedicated to running organised chess activities in a social and competitive environment.
The Melbourne Chess Club is open 7 days a week from about 3pm to 11pm (and during the day on weekends). A duty officer is on-hand at all times.
It is the oldest continuously running chess club in the Southern Hemisphere.
