MANIAX is the Southern hemisphere’s first and largest axe throwing company, proudly slinging steel for over 14 years. What began in 2014 as the country’s original urban axe throwing experience has grown into a nationwide movement, now spanning 11 venues across Australia, with locations in five states: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra. MANIAX is a member of the International Axe Throwing Federation and we’ve had over a million people through our doors across Australia, which equates to approx 35 million axes thrown! That’s with no significant AXE-idents beyond a splinter. From first-timers to seasoned throwers, everyone’s welcome. Our AXE-pert coaches will have you hurling hatchets like a total pro in no time—no experience needed, just your game face.

With fully licensed venues serving craft brews, Viking-inspired cocktails and epic feast-worthy food, MANIAX is the ultimate place to celebrate, de-stress or unleash your inner Viking. After hosting more than a million throwers (and tens of millions of axes!), we continue to lead the axe-throwing scene with unforgettable, safe and seriously fun experiences across the country.

TWe can accommodate groups of up to 300 at MANIAX Melbourne CBD. Please contact us to arrange large group or corporate bookings. We have 5 group lanes (two targets) and 12 Quick Chuck lanes onsite, we also have a viking-luxe bar + dining area to chill out with pizza and cocktails to round off your axe-citing celebration!

OPEN HOURS (QUICK CHUCKS - OTHER SESSIONS BY APPOINTMENT):

Monday: 2pm - 8pm (last throw 7pm)

Tuesday - Thursday: 12pm - 9pm (last throw 8pm)

Friday + Saturday: 9am - 11pm (last throw 10pm)

Sunday: 9am - 9pm (last throw 8pm)

MANIAX Melbourne CBD is LICENCED to serve alcohol.

You're able to purchase an ice-cold craft beer, wine, cider OR a specially crafted MANIAX Cocktail after your session.

We have Pizzas for purchase on-site, and other snacks such as chips, chocolate bars and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase at the venue. We are smack bang in the middle of the CBD with restaurants such as Mjolner, Chancery Lane and China Town just a hop skip and a jump away.

Alternatively, if you would like something more substantial to eat whilst at the venue, we have some other food and beverage packages you can check out soon.

MANIAX Melbourne CBD is located just up the road from the Bourke Street Mall, and on the corner of Little Collins and Elizabeth Street.
