The world's largest open water swim, Lorne Pier to Pub is in its 39th year will be held on Saturday, 12th January 2019.
The swim is a 1.2km course starting at the Lorne Pier and finishing on the foreshore in front of the Lorne Surf Lifesaving Club house. It is organised and run by the volunteers of Lorne Surf Lifesaving Club.
Lorne Surf Life Saving Club, home to the Lorne Pier to Pub and the Lorne Mountain to Surf run is one of Australia's proudest surf life saving clubs - providing voluntary patrols of the Lorne surf beach in Summer so that swimmers and surfers can enjoy the ocean and surf safely and enjoy their holidays.

Entries for the 2019 events will open 5 November.
$70 entry fee (all age groups), up to 14th Dec ($100 late entry fee post 14th Dec).
Sharkbait Club swimmers are guaranteed entry in the first two weeks.
