Lilydale & Yarra Valley Show 2020
The Lilydale show is located at Lilydale Recreation Reserve presented by the Lilydale Agricultural & Horticultural Show Society.
This is our 67th Show and Show dates are Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd.

Our Show has a strong focus on Agriculture and Horticulture whilst supporting our local community and businesses.
We hold strong competitions in Cookery, Craft, Needlework, Art, Photography, Wool, Horticulture, Victorian Scottish Dancing (Sunday), Highland Dancing (Saturday), Sheep (Saturday), Goats (Sunday), and Poultry (Saturday). We have many classes available for children to enter and display their work. Horse events, both led and ridden will be held on on No. 2 Oval. We are pleased to announce that this year will see a Cattle Education and Handlers Display on Sunday. We also will be running an Alpaca Handlers Class and Display on Sunday.
Our Melba Park area is our family and community area. Come along and see the animal nursery or the reptile display. We have pony rides and sheep dog trials and lots of fun activities for the kids including roving entertainers. You can watch the CFA and SES cut up a car or go through the smokehouse. The Melba Park stage runs free entertainment both days including music, magic and Zumba classes. On Sunday our Talent Quest is a fantastic example of our local artists. It's a great place to sit and take a break with your family.
We have a fun-filled carnival with rides, games, sideshows and showbags. Woodchop competitions will run both days as well. In our Youth Club you can find education displays, a fantastic Meccano display, amazing lego sculptures and historical displays about the Lilydale & Yarra Valley Show. There are plenty of food vendors and local businesses for you to visit.
Our main oval holds dog obedience (Saturday) and dog flyball (Sunday). There are also some fun family activities including Soccer Stars installation and a Rockabilly Fashion Parade. We are very pleased to announce that Dog High Jump will run again. It will be held on Sunday at 2pm.
From 4pm we head into twilight entertainment. We have whip-cracking, , country rock band - RUCKUS - playing from 6pm and it all finishes off with a fantastic fireworks display at 9pm.
Location of the Lilydale Show
Lilydale is situated at the entrance to the Yarra Valley and is considered to be the ideal location for an A&H show being halfway between town and country.
Whilst the majority of people attending the Show come from Lilydale, the Yarra Valley Region and surrounding districts, tourists visit from all over.
The Lilydale Show is held in the heart of Lilydale with the main entrance located on the Maroondah Highway and is just 45km from Melbourne and adjacent to the Lilydale railway station for easy rail access.
Lilydale A & H Society
The Society is a voluntary-based, non-profit organisation formed in 1953. Since then the Lilydale Show Society has successfully presented an Agricultural and Horticultural Show annually for the enjoyment of all the community.
