Lancefield & District Farmers' Market
The market has 85 stalls and prides itself on a great selection of fresh fruits & vegetables, mostly organically produced, regeneratively farmed meats such as beef, lamb, chicken, pork, salami, fresh mussels, award winning regional wines, honey, eggs, bread, pastries, fruit trees, herbs, live poultry, stockfeed, preserves, fresh pasta, olives & oils, saffron, black garlic, cheeses - cows & goats, puddings, potted herbs, exotic plants, prickly pear skin care items, soap, artisan chocolate, cut flowers, and more.
A community BBQ has local meats cooking. Yum cha, Turkish & Sri Lankan street food, paella, focaccia, spanakopita. Freshly roasted coffee from to great local roasteries & teas are served also.
The Lancefield & District Farmers' Market was established in March 2003 as a way of connecting farmers' & food producers with the local community & is located in the Eastern Macedon Ranges region nearby Hanging Rock.
Live music at both ends of the market.
Friendly dogs welcome on a leash.
A member of the Victorian Farmers Markets Association & proudly plastic bag free.
Please BYO bags, baskets & trolleys.
The town of Lancefield is home also to the Little Treasures Indoor Market with crafts on market day. There is also a bakery, great bookshop & the best vanilla slices are available from the cornerstore.
Runs on the Fourth Saturday of the month (except December, when it runs on the Third Saturday) from 9am-1pm on the heritage listed Centre Plantation of High Street, Lancefield.
This market is an initiative of the Lancefield Neighbourhood House.
