Open House at La Trobe's Cottage

Sundays - October to April, 1 - 4pm (last tour 3.30pm)

Spend your afternoon in the beautiful Domain, with a guided tour of the home of our first governor Charles Joseph La Trobe and his family.

You will be able to see their elegant yet simple prefabricated house from Melbourne's early days, surrounded by plants from the era.

The Cottage closes on days of extreme heat, and on the Grand Prix weekend in March and on Christmas Day/Eve.
