Koonwarra Farmers' Market

The Koonwarra Farmers Market (first Saturday, Memorial Park) was one of the first, true farmers markets, connecting farmers with those in search of exceptional local product.
This authentic market specialises in items that cannot be found in supermarkets like pastured free range eggs and chemical free vegetables, berry sorbets and fresh saffron.
This regional Farmers Market proudly presents and identifies South Gippsland's food cultural heritage with its friendly monthly community event. We proudly support and promote the freshest of healthy produce direct from local farmers, growers and specialty food makers.
This monthly event is all about creating atmosphere and opportunity... for local small producers to have permanency in their emerging businesses and for both the local community and businesses to have access to produce from Southern Gippsland... real food grown, produced and direct from the people who make, grow and catch it. That defines this authentic regional farmers market.
Koonwarra Farmers' market's producers prefer the simplicity, immediacy, transparency and independence of selling direct to consumers.
There are some fantastic local small artisan producers that have been here for 5, 10, 16 years and will make sure your purchase is just perfect. You can procure items for gifts as well.
Held only monthly, first Saturday every month, 8.30am -12.30pm.
