ASG Supports KidsLife Duo For Parents!

As a not-for-profit friendly society committed to the vision of supporting children and families, ASG supports a range of community initiatives. ASG's General Manager of Communities, Warwick James welcomed the opportunity to support the important role KidsLifeTV plays in providing valuable information to parents nationally through the growing community broadcasting television network, Channel 31.

'It's about engaging and informing parents through the natural alliance of the two initiatives,' Mr James says, 'both KidsLife and KidsLifeTV aim to provide information in bite-size chunks to empower parenting choices for the benefit of children'.


'Through the two initiatives we hope to encourage parents to craft effective parenting strategies and select activities that enable the whole family to enjoy their time together and develop as individuals, and as family units,' explained Mr James.

Launched in 2000, with expert content from independent sources, KidsLife has helped 40,000 members who have valued the website as a trusted source of information. The site provides researched practical information from a host of independent specialist sources. The KidsLife website was recently relaunched with a new fresh look and enhanced functionality to further help parents have choices in all the moments of parenting.

KidsLifeTV is an informative, educational and entertaining program that focuses on activities for children from toddlers to adolescents, and their parents. Now in its third season, KidsLifeTV is largely filmed in Melbourne, but focuses on a national audience and presents a diverse and inspiring range of experiences to share. Presenters, Mahlia Simpson, Sarah Crawford, Angela Johnson, Bennett Ackerman, and Veronica Milsom provide parents with insights and options whether planning a party or just looking for something to do on the weekends.

As the recent recipient of a National Antenna Award, KidsLifeTV's Executive Producer, Anthony Abicair says the new 13-episode series of KidsLifeTV will have something for every parent interested in exploring his or her relationship with their children, including interviews with www.kidslife.com.au experts education consultant and author, Kathy Walker; author, and best selling author, Michael Grose; child psychologist, Tina Fersterer; and speech therapist, Naomi Aufgang.
