The rolling Thursday and Friday gigs at Kew Court House are spotlighting live music acts across the genres. The upcoming Spring season promises lashings of classical global music jazz heartfelt blues and RnB Latin cabaret and even skiffle!

With tickets just $20 there is something for everyone and always a new reason to visit. The storied arts venue offers its regulars and new patrons up-close experiences with live music by exceptional performers in Melbourne's inner-East.

Melbourne favourites and international visitors take a spotlight this season. As part of an Australasian tour Italian multi-instrumentalist violinist Luca Ciarla brings his one-man performance exploring Italian jazz to Kew Court House before heading to Wangaratta Jazz Festival.

This season Australian jazz heavyweight Paul Grabowsky brings his trio Torrio to the venue for the first time and popular cabaret artist Geraldine Quinn (Spicks and specks Upper Middle Bogan Swingin' Bella Christmas) presents her award-winning show the Passion of Saint Nicholas.

Nathan Slater is back with his collaborator Richard Tedesco (Cat Empire) to perform a new show Nylon '48 - a history of modern Flamenco and Latin-jazz. Acclaimed singers Amelia Evans and Rebecca Mendoza feature amongst exciting global and indie ensembles such as Eastern European folk music makers Fifth of Nisan and Ghanian jazz group Jarabi.

Classical offerings make a feature this season with esteemed Melbourne pianist Tristan Lee performing a solo recital and emerging composer and cellist Darcy Gilkerson celebrates their new album Acteon - a kaleidoscope of classical and jazz exploration and improvisation.

Grand Baxter and Callum Wylie are among indie acts taking the stage this season along with St Kilda troubadour Delsinki and Mez Coleman Bron Naked Raven (led by Janine Maunder of Bachelor Girl) and Ryan Oliver bringing their raw and heartfelt sounds.

Kew Court House is a historic building with a past that's now an arts cornerstone in the inner-East community. Offering a welcoming venue to gather for a drink and enjoy great music the location at Kew Junction fills a live gigs gap in the lifestyle precinct's after-hours economy.
