In 1887 Kew Cottages was established as a world leader in the provision of services to the intellectually disabled. Today, the Kew Cottages Coalition is fighting for an Intellectual Disability Centre of Excellence (IDCE) to be established on this historic 27 hectare State Heritage site overlooking the Yarra Valley, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
