Japanese Film Festival 2025

Australia's largest celebration of Japanese cinema returns this spring!

Touring Melbourne from November 6th to December 4th 2025 at The Kino the Japanese Film Festival (JFF) presented by The Japan Foundation is back for its 29th year with new releases anime favourites thrillers and timeless classics.

Opening the festival is KOKUHO Japan's official submission for the 2026 Academy Awards starring Ryo Yoshizawa Ryusei Yokohama and Ken Watanabe.
