Heathmont Rail Trail

Heathmont Rail Trail

The Heathmont Rail Trail extends from Bedford Park in Ringwood through to HE Parker Reserve in Heathmont.

The trail is a shared path for both cycling and walking and goes past Heathmont Shopping Village.

The trail extends from Ringwood Lake for approximately 3.5 kilometres to Dandenong Creek.

WeekendNotes says: This is a linear trail running both north and south from Canterbury Road. The north section is between the railway and Campbell Street, starting at the Heathmont Station, and the south section is between the railway and Heathmont Road. The two sections are on opposite sides of the railway lines, so you need to cross over at Canterbury Road if you wish to walk the full trail. There are traffic lights provided.
