Greenpoint Winery

Greenpoint Winery

Green Point is on a spur of land running from Yeringberg Hill to the Yarra river, in the heart of the Yarra Valley and the home of Domaine Chandon Australia, where Green Point sparkling and Green Point still wines are produced.

The Green Point site was historically noted for remaining lush longer than the surrounding area, and was selected as the ideal site from which to produce premium sparkling and still wines.

The Green Point Room visitor facility provides either an in-depth look at wines, or a picturesque and stylish venue for indulging in a glass of wine. You can start your visit with a behind-the-scenes look at the world of methode traditionelle sparkling and still wine-making. Learn more about the history and development of this venerable company, its blend of tradition and innovation, and some of the wines that have established its reputation.

After your tour, settle in to the Green Point Room overlooking the spectacular Yarra Ranges, where you can enjoy a flute of Chandon sparkling or a glass of Green Point still wine. Light lunches are available daily. After your wine, the Tasting Bar offers the opportunity to sample the full range of Green Point wines.

Guided tours of the winery run daily at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm. These are free of charge and last approximately 30 minutes.

Domaine Chandon, Moët & Chandon's Australian winery is nestled in the picturesque Yarra Valley just one hour from Melbourne.
