Web site features information on the 2 main Australian events which are both held in Melbourne.
Foster's Australian Grand Prix
A four-day extravaganza held around Albert Park Lake and it only happens once a year at the Foster's Australian Grand Prix. Be there in Melbourne in 2004 to see Formula One racing with all the Amazing Skills and Whirling Thrills.
Motorcycle Grand Prix - Phillip Island
Very popular event held at the scenic Phillip Island. Descibed by Michael Doohan as "One of the most enjoyable tracks in the world to ride around fast".
What the world's other tracks don't have, though, is the spectacular Bass Strait backdrop against which the world's best riders make an awesome sight as they soar over Southern Loop as they make their way up to Lukey Heights.
With nature also playing a part through elements like the wind and stray seagulls Phillip Island is, quite simply, unique.
