GM-Free Nillumbik is a group of local residents concerned about the introduction of Genetically Modified foods into the community after the recent decision by the Victorian State Government to lift the ban on the introduction of GM foods and crops.
There is a growing body of scientific evidence to suggest that there are significant human health and environmental concerns with the introduction of GM technology into our food supply.
Our goal is to have the Shire of Nillumbik declared a GM-Free zone.
