Frankston Arts Centre

The Frankston Arts Centre is a unique premier arts and performance venue, providing the ultimate cultural experience for visitors wishing to enjoy memorable theatre performances, live music, engaging community programs, exhibitions, creative new media experiences and much more.

Established in 1995, the FAC is one of the largest outer metropolitan arts venues in Australia incorporating an 800 seat theatre, 2 exhibition gallery spaces, a function centre, a 194 seat black box theatre and creative arts hub.

The Centre attracts icons of Australian performance including Melbourne Symphony, OzOpera and the Australian Ballet amongst others. Our Theatre capacity and premium facilities also attract large and touring international artists and performers.

Performance Spaces - There are three Spaces at FAC in which to present performances, Theatre, Cube 37 and Function Centre

Theatre

The Main Theatre is a Proscenium Arch venue with a large 15m x 13m stage area and seating capacity of 800 offering great value for investment. The auditorium consists of Stalls and Dress Circle, providing an intimate experience for all patrons. Technical equipment includes a first class sound system, full conventional lighting facilities and manually operated counterweight fly system consisting of 60 lines. A motorised pit reduces setup and pack down time for events requiring this format.

Catering to your diverse requirements, Cube 37 can be set with tiered seating, capacity 194, for performance or transformed into a venue for cabaret, dance, exhibition, installation and more.
