Flower Drum Restaurant

The Flower Drum Restaurant has won every acolade and award for best restaurant. Melbourne's the Flower Drum has become one of the great dining institutions of Australia. To many it is simply known as Australia's best restaurant. The food is "marvellous"and "exquisite". "The service is impeccable, and the sense of indulgence and exclusivity is second to none."... Reviewers at The Age appear to live in the restaurant as it has won their best award for about 10 years running. We haven't been there for years, mainly through embarrassment of attempting to do a runner (long story) and getting caught but I do remember the excellent cuisine, service and a night I will never forget.
