Southern Goods Shed
Constructed in 1889, the Goods Shed was once a large railway freight shed in the former Spencer Street rail yards. As part of the development of Docklands, the Goods Shed was later split in half with the construction of the Collins Street extension, and is now classified by the National Trust and included on the Victorian heritage register.
Today, the southern end of the former railway freight shed has been converted into a vibrant office space for Pearson Australia, and Penguin Random House.
