Cockatoo Country Market
Cockatoo is nestled in a valley between Emerald & Gembrook.
A proud and friendly little town where the Artisan monthly market is held. All goods are made produced or grown by the stallholders.
There is a couple of cafes to enjoy a bite to eat or grab a coffee.
We have a beautiful open space parkland with the Cockatoo Creek running along side pack a picnic and stay awhile..
Puffing Billy runs through the centre of town you will hear his whistle blowing.
Currently work is in progress of restoring our famous round kinder which will become Ash Wednesday Memorial Building for all to see reflect on our little towns heritage.
In the event of days of extreme or catastrophic fire warnings for Central District the market will be cancelled till the following month.
Proceeds from the market will be made available to not for profit community groups in Cockatoo.
The Cockatoo Country Market is on the 1st Saturday of the month (no Jan).
