After 4 years of trading in the old kickhams flour mill in the heart of the Echuca CBD Ceres restaurant moved to its new location in the heart of Echuca's tourist precinct at 554 high street in February 2011 which was originally the town hall hotel until the Gough family opened it as a chemist - druggist in 1922.
While still offering the same great food and excellent service the new site offers a fantastic curb side dining area along with an upstairs private dining with a large balcony overlooking the river it's the perfect spot for that special occasion or party
Ceres restaurant's food has definite roots in the Mediterranean region of the world and we pride ourselves on using the freshest of ingredientssourced as locally as possible and the wine list reflects this ethos as well with the best of the locals offered by the glass along with great drops from further afield the atmosphere is relaxed and always alive with a huge local following.
The new site gives us the opportunity of longer trading hours. And we now open seven days a week offering lunch and dinner a fantastic all day menu and the best coffee this side of the great divide and on the weekends we now do an awesome breakfast ..
