Open: 10am to 4pm daily. Immerse yourself in the rich history of Bonegilla Migrant Experience. Your first port of call at the Bonegilla Migrant Experience is the Welcome Centre, where staff can get you started on your tour of Block 19 and provide information on the history of the site and the people who came through it. We have a range of tours available, all of which provide a rare opportunity to explore a collection of original buildings and to truly walk in the shoes of those migrants who made this their first Australian home. Our Welcome Centre offers merchandise items for sale and light refreshments. We also have indoor and outdoor picnic areas and a fully equipped function room for hire. During the Victorian and NSW school holidays in Spring, Summer and Autumn, individuals and small groups can join our 11am guided tours. No booking is required for these. Disabled access is available to most buildings.

Tours

We have a selection of ways you can enjoy the Bonegilla Migrant Experience from pre-booked guided group tours, self guided tours including the Suitcase Trail tour, to a simple walk around the site. All tours depart from the Welcome Centre. Opening times 10am to 4pm daily. Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day. Open Anzac Day from 1pm to 4pm. Bonegilla Migrant Experience is located at 82 Bonegilla Rd, Bonegilla, which is 12km from Wodonga in North East Victoria.
