Each year we remember Black Saturday, the horrific day on Saturday 7th February 2009 when fire claimed 173 human lives and destroyed over 2,000 homes.

The Black Saturday fires were responsible for 5,000 injured people, killed countless animals and burnt over 4,500 square kilometers of land.
