Australian Intercultural Society

The Australian Intercultural Society hopes to bring people together of different backgrounds to help improve social cohesion and community harmony and overcome prejudice and stereotyping.

The Australian Intercultural Society aims to do this through various events and projects that help to overcome the ignorance people have of the 'other' and help build bridges of understanding and respect.

We do this through various community education programs and activities that allow for social interaction between people. We have been involved in many interfaith and intercultural events.

The Australian Intercultural Society was founded by second generation professional Muslims.

Australian Intercultural Society web site includes a very good links page for Islamic, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian and Jewish links.
