Little Saigon Market

Little Saigon Market

FROM the freshly pressed sugar cane juice to the still-crawling crabs, Footscray’s Little Saigon Market (pictured) delivers an energising, distinctively Vietnamese shopping experience. You will find mountains of produce, with some stalls offering tasting plates of freshly cut fruit. This is a great place for exotic items, fresh meat and cheap vegies.
This market is the place to go to for great prices on fruit & veg as well as meat and fresh fish. You will find lots of different fruit and veg here as this place is very popular with the local Vietnamese population.

If you're not sure what it is, make sure you ask. If you're looking for that special ingredient for your Asian cooking, look no further than here. If it's not here, it's not available.

There is also an asian supermarket in this small complex.

Meat at this market is cheaper than the local butcher without compromising on quality.

The market is open every day: Monday - Thursday from 9am till 6pm, Friday from 9am till 9pm, Saturday from 9am till 7pm and Sunday from 9am till 5pm.

Byron St, Footscray (between Nicholson & Leeds) opposite the Footscray station.

Hi Catherine, for claypots, please proceed to Hopkins/Barkly Street from the Footscray Train Station where there are a handful of Asian groceries that sell cooking equipment as well.

Can you also buy cooking equipment here like claypots? If not, any suggestions where to buy them?
