Melbourne Aquarium

Melbourne Aquarium

From the moment you enter the Melbourne Aquarium, be ready for anything.

Beware there are no passengers in subspace. Prepare to get virtually wet as you are swept over four levels, travel through billabongs, rock pools, a transparent tunnel surrounded by sharks and giant stingrays, and finally right off the deep end into the 2.2 million litre Oceanarium.

Come face-to-face with the world’s largest crabs, blood-sucking leeches, poisonous scorpions, Bird Eating Spiders. Giant Japanese Spider Crabs are the stars of this frightfully delightful exhibit – these are the biggest crabs in the world, and have to be seen to be believed!

The journey will take you through spine-chilling caves where pythons, giant cockroaches and stick insects will be on display, and don’t miss the colourful Christmas Island Crabs and crafty Coconut Crabs.

So make sure you don’t miss Creepy Creatures at Melbourne Aquarium - where there's always someting new to sea!

The Melbourne Aquarium is located in the heart of the city of Melbourne, on the banks of the Yarra River.
