Linking Victoria

Linking Victoria - the biggest transport program in Victoria's history

The Bracks Government's $5 billion Linking Victoria program is revitalising Victoria's transport system. As the centrepiece of the Government's transport policy, this program is linking communities and fostering economic development and jobs by improving our road, rail and port networks.

News, projects and publications The Minister for Transport has announced Marshalltown Road as the site for a new railway station to service the rapidly growing areas around Grovedale in Geelong. Find out more from the New railway station for Geelong page.

The latest issue of the Linking Victoria magazine is now available. Previous editions are also available to download from the About Linking Victoria page.

Related beef... now I know why all the new trams are heading off on Route 109? Part of Brackies vision for the future. Shame his vision for the future does not head out in any other direction, particularly North up Smith Street > High Street > Bundoora. BGK02022004

While Linking Victoria makes wonderful reading for certain parts of Melbourne, it is also flogging "The Bracks Government" as our greatest saviours since the Romans. It is plain advertising. Should we have to read this on a "Department of Infrastructure" web site? Will we see ads on chambers walls?
