Here we explain where the real Ramsay Street is in Melbourne, how to get there yourself or how to see it on an organised tour.

From the television series Neighbours, Ramsay Street real street name Pinoak Court is in the suburb of Vermont South which is 29 kilometres from Melbourne CBD. The journey by car would take around 24 minutes via the Eastern Freeway.

The best way of seeing the real Ramsay Street is on the Official Neighbours Tour, but if you want to make your own way there, follow the instructions below.

Official Neighbours Tour
Public Transport

Choose between TRAIN and bus, or TRAM and bus.

TRAIN & BUS
1. Catch train to Glen Waverly station.
Trains depart Flinders Street station [Glen Waverly line] running east.
2. Board Bus 888 or 889 - Bus stop next to station.
Northbound Nunawading bus service travels down Springvale Road.
3. Ask driver for Vision Drive bus stop.
Alight [get off] and look for Weeden Drive [oposite Vision Drive]. Weeden Drive is also described as the 1st road on the right after the intersection of Springvale Road and Highbury Roads.
4. Cross Springvale Road and walk down Weeden Drive to Pinoak Court.
Pinoak Court is the 3rd road down Weeden Drive on the left.

TRAM & BUS
1. Catch Number 75 Tram [East Burwood line] to East Burwood terminus [end of line]. Trams run from city [Flinders St] running east along Springvale Road.
2. Catch No 732 Bus to corner Springvale Road and Burwood Highway.
3. Walk to Weeden Drive [as described above].

Note: Private Bus line with infrequent on Saturdays, and do not run Sundays/Public Holiday. Tip: Plan for weekday.

Self Drive

Route 1 - Toll Road [see below for toll info]
1. Enter Monash Highway [M1] from Punt Road [29].
2. Exit Ferntree Gully Road [22] and turn left.
3. Continue in left lane of Ferntree Gully Road until Springvale Road [40].
4. Turn left into Springvale Road [North].
5. After crossing Highbury Road, Weeden Drive is next road on right.
Follow instructions above.

Route 2 - No Toll Road

1. From the city, drive down St Kilda Road [main road south].
2. Turn left into Toorak Road [26] and continue as it turns into Burwood Highway [20k].
3. Turn right at Springvale Road [40].
4. Turn left into the 2nd road on left, Weeden Drive.
