Preston Market has the best coffee in the world - I get off the plane from London and head straight there .

I come from New Zealand and my son lives in Melbourne. I go there once a year and visit my son and I ALWAYS make a stop and go to Preston Market. I love the atmosphere, the uniqueness of it all. I have been to most markets in Melbourne and this market is far better than the Victoria Market - its more personalised.

Preston Market is a great place to visit. I've got nothing like it near where I live (on the south side of the Yarra). It has a wide variety of "all kinds of stuff" at competitive prices. However my one "gripe" is the lack of bicycle parking. Plenty of car parking but no secure bike parking. And I can't take my bike into the Centre. Redressing the lack of bicycle parking would make my visits much more enjoyable.

Its great to go to the market and get your food and vegs as well as a hair cut from the fabulous girls at the hair house. The changes they have made to the salon are fantastic....
