We Remember: A Musical Reflection on the ANZAC Spirit
With words and music we remember and reflect on the spirit and sacrifice of men and women in time of war.
CHIME Choir honours their efforts in the magnificent South Melbourne Town Hall, home of the Australian National Academy of Music on ANZAC Day, 25th April, 2019.
In true ANZAC spirit CHIME is joined by the Hamilton Civic Choir from New Zealand, acknowledging the friendships created on the stage of Carnegie Hall, New York, in 2018, and reflecting the bonds forged in the heat of war.
Featured works include Benedictus and For the Fallen by Karl Jenkins, and Soldier Boy by John Rutter. Complementing these and more beautiful choral pieces, will be the magnificent sounds of the Boroondara Brass Ensemble.
