Underground Cinema | Wall StreetUnderground Cinema is a secret live immersive film screening event held in undisclosed locations throughout Melbourne
"It is in the compelling zest of high adventure and of victory, and in creative action, that man finds his supreme joys."
Antoine de Saint-Exupery
You walked the walk and talked the talk, but success only came to those who proved their worth...
Over two wintery weekends, we stepped back in time to New York City circa 1985 to play another live immersive cinematic game unlike any other. Vintage mobile phones and old school Apple Mac computers lined the desks of the top floors of high rise buildings in the very heart of Melbourne & Sydney's CBD. Welcome to the fast-paced financial world of Oliver Stone's classic, 'Wall Street'.
The Company was impressed with the thousands of sharply dressed candidates as you undertook job interviews and trials unlike any other. Up here in the heavens of money, we have no time to waste; and it was about pushing you into the ocean of cash and seeing whether you would sink or swim.
You learnt floor trading on the stock exchange, you learnt cold calling penny stocks, you learnt the art of the perfect investment. In the end everyone was driven by a little bit of greed. That's good. It's what we like to see.
To all those who played along, and brought their A-game, we thank you. You were by far the most impressive bunch of candidates we've seen in a long time. You have what it takes; the drive, the attitude, the creativity, the bravery, the intelligence and the stamina and we are happy to say - you've the got the job! Welcome to Wall Street.
We'll be in touch soon.
In the meantime, remember, you're only as good as your last deal.
