The Way Out
|Calling last drinks..|
Helen and her father, Stewart, a local civil war veteran, sell moonshine to a broken town, struggling to survive in a poisoned landscape.
Helen believes in a different future but no one is listening. Then a government inspector arrives on the same day as a travelling market salesman.
Set in a community constructed in the aftermath of atrocity, The Way Out explores family loyalty and how the denial of culpability can become a tool for survival.
The Way Out is an exquisite new play by Josephine Collins, developed through the Red Stitch INK program.
