St James' Annual Parish Fete

Parish Fete – 21st October

Wrist Bands—Available after all weekend Masses. $30 before the Fete or $35 on Fete Day. These wrist bands get you unlimited rides along with a sausage, drink and a donut. Due to the rides having to be pre-paid, all wrist bands are non-refundable.

Cake Kits—These are available on the Bench in the Narthex if you are able to bake something for the cake stall.

Fruit and Veg—You can leave your donations of home grown or fresh from the farm fruit and veg on the Parish Verandah.

Stalls—Stalls this year include a Photo Booth (cost $5), Badge Making, Face Painting, Pick-a-Box, Coin Toss, Plants, White Elephant, Sponge Toss, BBQ, Drinks, Fairy Floss, Snow Cones, Cakes, Devonshire Tea, Craft, Books, Mini Mart, Fruit and Veg and Showbags.

Volunteering at the Fete—If you would like to help out at the Fete, please indicate on the form available in the Narthex. The Parish Fete is our major fundraiser and achieves more that just fundraising; it creates community and camaraderie. Please consider being part of this journey this year.

Urgent need for Car Park Attendants—If you are able to help please contact Kevin Lloyd on 0439 314 572. The times required are 9:00am to 4:00pm. Volunteers are desperately needed to direct visitors where to park. People will not be able to park around the oval without Car Park Attendants. Any amount of time will be valued.

Masses on Fete Day—Due to the Fete there will be no morning Mass at 9:00am on this day. The evening Vigil Mass will move to 7:00pm instead of 6:00pm for this day only.

Set Up and Clean Up—If you are available to help we will be setting up the Church Grounds from 4:30pm-7:00pm on Fri 20 Oct and from 7:00am on Sat 21 Oct. Clean up will happen from 4:00pm-6:30pm during which we urgently need as much help as possible. Stall Holders are encouraged to please assist with packing their own stalls.

You can leave your brick-a-brack and books under the Presbytery Verandah.

Sorry, we cannot accept clothes, electrical items, large furniture, couches or mattresses.
Please DO NOT donate these items.

Family Plant Donation—Could families assist our Plant Stall this year by donating a plant. Plants can be left on the Parish Verandah.

Raffle Tickets—$1.00 each. Tickets on sale after all weekend Masses.
