Organised by the Springvale Asian Business Association (SABA), the 2019 Springvale Lunar New Year Festival, will be held on Sunday 3 February.
One of the most important festivals on the Lunar calendar, this event is traditionally celebrated by the Chinese, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Korean and Japanese communities and is open to the general public.
The Buckingham Avenue shopping precinct will be transformed into a colourful, vibrant space from 10am until 10pm.
This premier community event celebrates its 27th anniversary in 2019 and is a fusion of Asian culture and traditions with the multicultural landscape of Greater Dandenong. More than 80 market stalls will be on display, as well as a dazzling entertainment program that includes traditional lion dancing, firecrackers, children's rides and games, live band and a wide range of delicious Asian cuisines.
Don't miss out on the fireworks show at approximately 9pm.
