The South Asian Festival is returning to Birrarung Marr for the third consecutive year. This day-long, free event celebrates the Bengali New Year in a splendid display of South Asia's rich and vibrant culture. The exciting line-up of stage performances includes songs, traditional dance, poetry, bands and a DJ. Popular food vans and restaurants will provide a mouthwatering assortment of dishes bursting with South Asian flavours. Community stalls will showcase boutique clothing, jewellery, handicrafts, toys, books and much more. Other activities include face painting for kids, carnival rides and games for all ages, raffle draws and a fireworks display.
