Silent All These Years: The Songs of Tori Amos

Silent All These Years: The Songs of Tori AmosSilent All These Years: The Songs of Tori Amos

After wowing audiences with her show 'This Woman's Work - The Songs of Kate Bush', Kate Finkelstein is back and is taking on another musical icon!

New show, 'Silent All These Years', pays homage to the courage and brilliance that is Tori Amos. Performing a selection of Tori's most famous songs and some of her more obscure tracks, Kate Finkelstein will lead audiences through a sorta fairytale featuring songs such as 'Cornflake girl' and 'Happy Phantom'. Debuting at The Butterfly Club from 21st to 26th January 2019, 'Silent All These Years', is a musical experience not to be missed.

She declared that she 'Never was a cornflake girl'. So, who is she? Who is Tori Amos?

Singer-songwriter and pianist Tori Amos turns herself inside out to create songs that cover topics from politics and religion to sexual abuse and self-love. Tori has an admirable way of expressing the unspeakable, breaking the silence with cryptic lyrics and sweetly manic piano.

It's this un-inhibited expression and vulnerability that attracts fans from all around the world, forming a cult- like following. With songs such as 'Cloud on my tongue' and 'Winter', Kate Finkelstein has created a show that tries to understand an artist that seems to somehow understand her fans.

It looks like 2019 is shaping up to be a pretty good year!
