Celebrate peony season at Romswood Farm this spring
This spring Romswood Farm will open the gates to its breathtaking peony farm from so that people from around the state can share in the delights of this majestic flower.
Visitors are welcome to explore the established gardens or wander through the fields of blooming peonies where they can pick their own bunch to take home. Either pack yourself a picnic or enjoy some of the tasty food available at the farm sit back and listen to live folk music and indulge in the peony products made on site at Romswood. Children can embark on nature walks to look out for some of the furry friends who also call Romswood home.
Located in Kerrie in the Macedon Ranges Romswood Farm has been growing peonies since the mid 1990s. The cool climate of the region creates perfect peony growing conditions echoing those of the imperial gardens of China where the peony originated and continues to be revered as a symbol of peace stability distinction and wealth.
On the following days throughout November: Saturday 16th, Sunday 17th, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th, we are inviting you to enjoy the peony harvest and established designer gardens of Romswood. Bring a picnic, pack a rug, take some photos and have a wander and enjoy the spring atmosphere.
