Thornbury mind body wellness studio Just Believe Fit is seeking donations of pre-loved and new activewear during September to raise money for the charity Berry Street, which helps children, young people and families recover from the effects of violence, abuse and neglect.
The donations will be sold at an open-to-all event at the studio at 4 Gooch Street, Thornbury (laneway entrance) on Saturday 21 September from 12noon until 5pm.
It is the second year Just Believe Fit is running the Re-Activate charity fundraiser. Last year $730 was raised for Women's Health in the North.
Bendigo Bank is the sponsoring the charity effort and Alternative Women's Fitness (AWF) has also donated a substantial amount of new activewear for the fundraiser.
Donate any exercise gear for women, men, teens and kids that is clean, in good condition with no rips or holes, and also wire coat hangers. Donations will be accepted until Thursday 19 September and can be dropped off at the studio, Bespoke Wines and Spirits in High Street Thornbury, Optimum Training and Nutrition in Preston, and Bendigo Bank Clifton Hill branch and other donation points. For a full list of donation points and more information, see the Just Believe Fit website at www.justbelievefit.com.au.
