Pyrenees Unearthed Wine & Food Festival 2018 |
Saturday 21st of April 2018 11am – 5pm, Avoca Riverflats Pyrenees Unearthed will showcase the award-winning wines that the Pyrenees region has to offer. A day of wine, food and music! Taking place on Saturday 21 April 2018 along the banks of the Avoca River, the event will be held between 11 am and 5 pm. A fun filled day for all, couples, singles and families are very welcome to come along to enjoy an afternoon of fabulous local produce, live music and wines by the glass, as well as free kids activities and masterclasses for purchase (children entry by gold coin donation). BYO picnic rugs! Don't miss your chance to pick up rare release wines at the wine auction. The Pyrenees has a growing reputation as one of the great regions for Cabernet Sauvignon in the world, and you will have the chance to taste and purchase, and vote for your favourite on the day in the Peoples' Choice Award. Local artisan food producers will also be showcased. ** No animals permitted. The Line UpMusic Butterfunked Butterfunked, a nine piece soul & funk band formed in 2017, featuring two female lead vocalists soulful brass and woodwind, funky electric guitars and keys, not to mention tight drums of course. This diverse band will have you dancing along to their unique blend of funky soul music. Anna Wright Anna Wright is a 18 year old Australian singer-songwriter, her style branches off into varied genres including alt-country, indie folk and blues. Peggy Hills With a collection of melodious stories and re-imagined classics, Peggy Hills brings forth a sound full of folk undertones and heart felt inclinations.
