Melbourne's premier pub-punk misfits Private Function have revealed their debut LP, St. Anger will be released into the wild on Friday August 16 and to mark the occasion, the band have announced they'll be taking the album across the country on the St. Anger National Tour, hitting up the Tote Hotel on Saturday September 28.
The band have also shared the two lead singles ‘Talking To Myself' and punk Midnight Oil cover ‘King of the Mountain', a track that has been kicking around their live set for a while.
The title and album artwork are less a homage to the infamous Metallica record of the same name, and more a leer at the metal behemoth's tendency to sue.
If that wasn't enough to rile Lars Ulrich up, Private Function are embarking on a St Anger national tour too, setting off at venues around the country in September, August and October.
